Anger is often triggered when danger or perceived danger threatens.
There are many ways anger shows itself:- shouting; slamming doors; aggressive driving and road rage; breaking things on purpose; being physically and or verbally abusive and general hostility.
Anger is a behaviour that is disliked and even feared.
This type of behaviour can be something that the angry person experienced in childhood, which has remained dormant or even supressed; something that at the time was unable to be expressed or perhaps received punishment for its expression.
It is perfectly normal to feel angry from time to time, it is when that anger feels out of control that speaking to a trained professional will help.
Exploring this in a safe place can be life changing for the person who is experiencing out of control anger, and for loved ones who have or are enduring it.
